Anxiety Therapy with Catherine
Many of the individuals and couples I work with are intelligent, responsible, and driven - yet live with a persistent undercurrent of tension. It may show up as overthinking, irritability, perfectionism, difficulty relaxing, sexual performance concerns, or conflict patterns that escalate faster than intended.
Anxiety is not simply a mindset issue. It is a nervous system pattern that shapes how you interpret threat, closeness, responsibility, and control. In relationships, it can create cycles of pursuit and withdrawal, defensiveness, or emotional shutdown.
My approach to anxiety therapy integrates practical skill-building with deeper nervous system regulation and relational insight. We work to reduce reactivity, increase emotional range, and develop the capacity to stay connected - to yourself and to others - even under stress.
For couples, this often means transforming conflict from destabilizing to constructive. For individuals, it means building steadiness that strengthens both personal wellbeing and partnership.
The goal is not to eliminate stress entirely - ambitious lives come with pressure. The goal is to create enough internal stability that your relationships are not casualties of it.
